Job summary

DATTCO, INC. is hiring a part-time School Bus Aide in Rhode Island to help ensure students reach school safely. The role involves assisting children during transportation, staying within bus rules, and providing support per each student’s transportation plan.

No experience required; free personalized training is provided. Work 10-20 hours per week with split shifts, weekends and holiday breaks, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• No experience required. We provide free personalized training.
• Part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week. Split shift.
• Be home every night.
• Weekend and holiday breaks.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pass a background check. Pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Aides are assigned to assist a special needs child or children during their transportation to and from school.
• Assist the child with entering and exiting the bus.
• Assist the child with any other accommodations included in the student’s transportation plan.
• Encourage the child to remain safe and follow the bus rules.
• Provide verbal redirection and support to the child.
