Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard to help keep school campuses safe for students, staff and visitors. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents in coordination with local authorities.

Ideal candidates bring vigilance, reliability and basic fire safety knowledge. Bilingual skills are a plus; we value teamwork and a commitment to CSUSA's mission of secure, supportive learning environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years building security experience or 3 years supervisory experience.
• Commitment to CSUSA values.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned facilities including buildings, parking lots, and equipment; check for security, vandalism, or casualty losses, and report all incidences to the appropriate Police or Fire Department.
• Oversee pick up and drop off procedures.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Supervise other building security personnel.
• Maintain visitor/building log accurately and assist visitors to school buildings using the appropriate procedure.
• Participate in training programs to increase skills.
• Monitor current developments, literature and technical sources related to job responsibility.
• Monitor security system.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school administrators.
• Follow federal and state laws and School Board policies.
