Job summary

Qualifications

• Must recognize unsafe or out of the ordinary situations and provide security for the facility.
• Thorough knowledge of fire extinguishers and proper use.
• Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting.
• Identify authorized vehicles and persons designated to be on premises during shift.
• Must be alert, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required; computer skills as required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned facilities including buildings and parking areas; check for security, vandalism, or casualty losses and report incidents to police/fire departments.
• Oversee pick up and drop off procedures.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Supervise other building security personnel.
• Maintain visitor/building log accurately and assist visitors.
