Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets required physical examination.
• Demonstrates aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or GED as Kentucky law requires.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all buildings and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Shovels, plows, and/or sand walks, driveways, parking areas, and steps as appropriate.
• Checks daily to insure exit doors are open and panic bolts work during occupancy.
• Sweeps classrooms daily and dusts furniture.
• Cleans corridors after school and during the day when needed.
• Disinfects toilet floors and cleans fixtures daily; washes windows twice yearly.
• Keeps grounds free from garbage and debris.
• Performs yard-keeping tasks to maintain safe school grounds.
• Maintains floors in clean, attractive condition; performs minor repairs.
• Reports major repairs to principal and Building Operations Supervisor.
