Position Overview

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) for a full-time, school-based position in Bellmore. In this role, you'll provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students on the autism spectrum within a school setting. You will work closely with supervising BCBAs and school staff to implement individualized BIPs, support skill development, and help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support under BCBA supervision throughout the school day

• Availability for full school-day hours, Monday through Friday
• Minimum of 6 months of direct, hands‑on ABA experience required
• RBT certification not required, but a plus
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Previous school-based or special education experience (preferred)
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays
• Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
