A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought to provide essential support and guidance in an elementary school setting. This full-time position will extend from as soon as possible until June 26, 2025, with the potential for renewal for the next school year. The role involves working closely with students primarily diagnosed with developmental delays and ASD, across two school buildings.

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA Certification
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong knowledge of behavior modification techniques and data-driven instruction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Middletown, NY

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Provide training and support to teachers, staff, and families on behavioral techniques
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of BIPs, ensuring data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with educational teams to integrate behavioral supports within the classroom
  • Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development as required
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of student progress and interventions
