Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a School setting in Tacoma, WA. This contract-part-time position provides consultation, training, behavioral evaluations, and the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral needs.

The role acts as a clinical educator in the school, supervising service delivery and observing classrooms.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BCBA certification from BACB.
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field.
• Preferred experience delivering behavior analytic programs in schools.
• One year pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, training, and supervision of behavioral services.
• Conduct behavioral evaluations and develop/implement behavior intervention plans.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES providesconsultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implementsbehavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioraldeficits. The Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, andsupervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the schoolsetting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching,psychology or related field

• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programsand services in schools

• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
