Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School BCBA for travel in the La Plata, MD area. The role entails providing BCBA services in schools, including evaluation and development of intervention plans, plus training and supervision of staff.

The position offers competitive pay with weekly paychecks and comprehensive benefits. A Master’s degree in ABA or related field and current BCBA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current BCBA certification from BACB.
• Master’s degree in ABA, teaching, psychology or related field.
• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs in schools.
• Pediatric experience encouraged (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, training and supervision for educational staff.
• Conduct behavioral evaluations and develop/implement behavior intervention plans.
• Educate, observe and supervise educational activities and behavioral service delivery in schools.
• Serve as clinical teacher within the school setting.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES providesconsultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implementsbehavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioraldeficits. The Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, andsupervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the schoolsetting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching,psychology or related field
• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programsand services in schools
• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
