Four Oaks Family & Children Services in Cedar Rapids seeks an Entry-level Youth Counselor to support students at Bertram Campus. This full-time role involves direct supervision, assisting the School Facilitator, and coordinating activities during the school day.

You will help with health checks, administer medications as needed, participate in school and clinical meetings, and foster a therapeutic relationship between Four Oaks and CRSD teams.

Qualifications

• To qualify you must be at least 21 years of age and possess a Bachelor's Degree plus one (1) year of relevant experience with At Risk populations, and/or school support services OR meet Youth Counselor requirements plus added relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Walks Four Oaks youth to/from program units to the school classrooms as needed.
• Provides direct supervision of students throughout school day activities.
• Completes light custodial work as needed during the school day.
• Distributes medications, attends to first aid needs, and takes youth to medical/dental appointments.
• Assists the School Facilitator as needed.
• Participates in the school team meetings and STOP clinical meetings.
