Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist to empower students to make healthy choices and build brighter futures within school settings.

The role offers approximately 20 hours per week (3–4 days), with middle school hours and variable days. You will deliver prevention programs, connect students to resources, document and bill monthly, and work closely with school staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Mental Health related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging prevention programs and presentations in classroom settings.
• Support students in identifying and accessing appropriate school and community resources.
• Partner with school personnel to respond to student disclosures and potential risk concerns.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and monthly billing.
• Participate in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to program growth and effectiveness.
• Foster a respectful, compassionate, and team-oriented environment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and fulfill additional duties as assigned.
