Job summary

Oswego Health is seeking a School Based Therapist to provide psychotherapy within a school-based satellite clinic, following the 10-month school calendar. The role includes evaluating client needs, direct clinical work, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Supervision is available for licensure, with opportunities for CEU reimbursement and a clinical ladder for salary advancement. Positions may offer a pathway to PSLF, with leadership support for work-life balance and productivity

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or psychology.
• Licensure in NY state highly preferred; limited permit acceptable with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy in a school-based satellite clinic.
• Assess treatment needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate services.
• Maintain documentation and prepare periodic reports.
• Attend meetings and participate in interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide crisis counseling/evaluations when indicated.
