Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or DMH approved related field.
• Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist.
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Obtain Therapist certification or license as required by the Department of Mental Health.
• Provide therapy in school and home settings (individual, group, school based, family).
• Provide referrals to services for the consumer, family, and school personnel.
• Establish weekly meetings with case managers.
• Maintain documentation per state and local standards.
• Serve as liaison between student, home, school and community resources.
