Job summary

Community Health & Wellness Center seeks a School Based Behavioral Health Clinician to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and case management services for individuals and families in school settings.

Qualified candidates hold LCSW/LMSW/LPC/LMFT licensure, speak English proficiently, and have EHR experience. Teleworking option may be available; experience with suicide/homicide risk assessment and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical social worker or equivalent licensure (LCSW/LMSW/LPC/LMFT) is required.
• Experience providing behavioral health services in clinical settings.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and case management.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Assess suicide and homicide risk and create safety plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and community resources.
• Work within school-based health center settings and school systems.

Job description

School Based Behavioral Health Clinician ( LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT) to work with our amazing BH team.

Position Summary

Provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, children, couples, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to position. Will participate in case consultation and present cases at clinical meetings.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Advanced Clinical diagnostic assessment/documentation skills
  • Including but not limited to psychosocial assessments, progress notes, telephone consultation, brief assessments, patient education
• Ability to assess suicide and homicide risk potential
• Planning for improving health services by interpreting social factors pertinent to development of the program
• The ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team Model
• Individual, Group and Family therapy skills
• Strong ability to problem solve
• Community Collaboration skills
• Skills to assess needs and programs accordingly
• To practice in the scope of their training, qualifications and experience
• Adherence to their professional code of ethics
• Strong knowledge of and connection to community resources
• Additional duties as requested
• School Based Health Center (If applicable)
  • An understanding of the workings of school systems
  • Prevention and intervention skills and strategies appropriate for school settings
  • The ability to independently (with support) develop a caseload while working within the school system

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Experience

Must have previous experience as an Behavioral Health Clinician in a professional clinical setting, maintaining an EHR, while providing therapeutic services. Group and family treatment preferred but not required.

Language Skills

Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Spanish preferred but not required.

Licensure/Certification Required

LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT certification required and is CPR certified.

Teleworking

This position requires teleworking if requested.

Salary Range for the position: $55,000.00 to $78,000.00
