The Behavioral Health Therapists facilitate, monitor, and provide comprehensive mental health/chemical dependency case management and therapy services, including assessment, individual, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, to addicted and/or severely mentally ill adults or seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • License eligible for the LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAC in the State of Indiana required.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience providing mental health treatment required.
  • Possess current Indiana Driver’s license with proof of current auto insurance.
  • Recognizes and commits to the critical importance of customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers).
  • Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
  • Trains and assists clients and/or family in developing activities of daily living, focusing on improving their ability to function independently in the community.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans aimed at improving individual and family functioning in various settings.
  • Delivers effective mental health interventions, including individual, family, group therapies, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for treatment planning, assessment, referral, and discharge planning.
  • Links clients to community resources and services through case management.
  • Develops and implements discharge plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provides services in homes, schools, or other community sites, including transportation as needed.
  • Participates in service quality improvement efforts.
  • Provides psychological first aid in disaster or critical incident response, if trained.
  • Complies with all policies and procedures, including aggressive behavior management and professional development.
