Job summary

Community Healing Centers seeks a Children’s School Therapist for a part-time, salaried role in Michigan. The position follows the school calendar, with 20–25 hours per week, primarily located in school settings.

Responsibilities include direct clinical services, assessments, individual and family therapy, and coordinated care with school staff. Licensure in LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC/LP and CAADC certification or eligibility within 2 years are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services area.
• Licenses: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC or LP.
• MCBAP CAADC certification (or eligible, must obtain within 2 years).
• TB screening required for all staff.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and implement the agency’s DEI values.
• Perform clinical assessments and evaluations of children and families.
• Work in school settings for contracted hours weekly.
• Coordinate with school staff to develop caseloads and schedules.
• Provide individual and family therapy as needed.
• Maintain documentation in BH Works and other regulatory records.
• Coordinate care with referral sources and community programs.
