Job summary

Arthur Center in Fulton, Missouri, seeks a School-Based Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy within schools. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and clinical staff to support youth mental health, with a focus on trauma-informed care and culturally responsive approaches.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide crisis intervention as needed, document services per HIPAA, and participate in school-community outreach. Licensure milestones preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in licensure-eligible field such as Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Active licensure in a therapeutic discipline required.
• Minimum of one year of direct mental health experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Experience working with youth and school-based populations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and provide individual/family/group therapy.
• Collaborate with school personnel and families; provide clinical consultation as appropriate.
• Document all services in the electronic health record per HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Meet productivity expectations and assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
