Seeking a School-Based Therapist inSanta Maria! The School-Based Therapist is an on-site direct service provider at a local school site. Each School-Based Therapist works with children and teens affected by trauma or ongoing risk factors, as well as their families, teachers, school counselors, other school personnel and administrators. The School-Based Therapist also works with community agencies to make appropriate referrals.
Working with those impacted by trauma can be fulfilling and meaningful, yet simultaneously challenging, requiring attention to one’s self-care. FSA strives to be a trauma-informed and resilience-oriented organization, actively identifying and employing methods to support staff to embody a healthy and sustainable balance of care for others and themselves.
This is a full-time (rangingfrom 30–40 hoursper week during the school year) position with competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; generous vacation and sick leave accrual; paid holidays; eligibility for flexible spending accounts; and participation in a 403(b)-retirement plan.
Pay range is from $34.50-$40.50/hour depending on licensure status and experience
