Job summary

Child and Family Agency in Connecticut seeks a School Based Health Center Clinician to provide outpatient psychotherapy to students within assigned schools. You will work with school staff to support the whole child, conducting assessments and implementing evidence-based treatment plans during school hours.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, and licensure or license eligibility (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, or license eligibility.
• Experience with assessment, DSM-5 diagnosis, and outpatient psychotherapy.
• Experience working with an Electronic Health Record system, or strong computer skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred with significant pay differential offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment, diagnose, develop and follow evidence-based treatment plans.

SBHC Mental Health Clinicians are outpatient level treaters, providing individual, family and group psychotherapy to an established caseload of clients and families. Our staff work in school buildings Mondays through Fridays during the hours of school operation. No evening or weekend hours are required. CFA has a robust onboarding and initial training program.
