Job summary

Community Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide clinical therapy to children and adolescents in school settings. You will help identify CPRC-qualifying clients for referrals and work with families as part of a multidisciplinary approach to student care.

Responsibilities include direct mental health services, coordinating school-CCC referrals, and creating treatment plans. You will collaborate with school staff and community resources, with on-call coverage as

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field is required.
• LMSW, PLPC, LCSW, LPC (or eligible) are acceptable licenses/certifications.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required (MO Class E or IL Class D on start).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health services and referrals, including consent to treat and charting per CCC standards.
• Coordinate services between the schools and CCC.
• Create and maintain a calendar with daily therapeutic activities.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, DLA-20, updates, and all chart requirements; involve family in planning.
• Act as liaison between agency and community resources.
• Follow up on no-show appointments and coordinate services with other providers.
• Participate in the on-call schedule rotation as agreed upon by SBT Supervisor and Director.

Job description

• Provisionally Licensed (LMSW or PLPC): $50,620 minimum annually and additional depending on experience
• Fully Licensed (LCSW or LPC): $53,120 minimum and additional depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Must hold Valid Driver's License (Class E for Missouri or Class D for IL Residents - Obtain on start date) and current continuous auto insurance.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing clinical therapy to children and adolescents based on clinical need as identified by school staff. Additionally, School-Based Therapists help in identifying who may qualify for the CPRC program and make necessary referrals for clients, as well as their families. The School-Based Therapist regularly consults with school staff in developing a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting the client's needs.

Job Duties:

• Provide direct mental health services and referrals to include consent to treat, releases of confidential information, and completed CCC packet.
• Coordinate services between the schools and CCC.
• Create and maintain a calendar with daily therapeutic activities.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, DLA-20, updates, and all chart requirements. Involve family and school in treatment planning, working with the family system to facilitate the needs of the child.
• Act as a liaison between agency and community resources.
• Follow up on no show appointments.
• Coordinate services with other providers internally and externally.
• Participate in the on-call schedule rotation as agreed upon by SBT Supervisor and Director of Outpatient and Emergency Services.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
• Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
