The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with Maine licensure and experience in school-based or related settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Maine Speech-Language Therapist licensure required.
• Experience in school-based, behavioral health, therapeutic, or special education settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring to support student success.
• Develop measurable goals and intervention strategies addressing communication and social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with educators, clinicians, families, and community providers to support student growth.
• Participate in IEP meetings, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide consultation and classroom strategies to support student engagement.
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed learning environment.
