Job summary

Soliant Health in Portland, ME is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP in a school setting. Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Document student progress, maintain service logs, and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom-based communication strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate and support the implementation of student goals.
  • Maintain compliance with school district, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited SLPA program.
