Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle and high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year in the southwest Houston area. The contract position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours weekly and opportunities to work with grades 6-8 or 10-12, depending on district needs.

You’ll provide therapy, ARDs, testing and progress monitoring in collaboration with educators and families, adhering to IEPs and district standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Texas SLP license and FL Licensure; documentation required.
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive SLP services (therapy, ARDs, testing, progress monitoring).
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students.
• Organized and communicative with a teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy and diagnostics in accordance with IEPs and district standards.
• Conduct ARDs and collaborate with educators and families.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for speech and language disorders.
• Participate in meetings, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Complete required credentialing, including fingerprint clearance.
