RCM Health Care is seeking full-time and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work in and around Dallas, TX. CFYs are encouraged to apply. Both monolingual and bilingual positions are available. The positions are for ESY and the 2025/2026 school year.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field
  • Valid Texas License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ability to work with school and community populations
  • Ability to work independently

Primary Purpose

Serve as the speech-language pathologist responsible for diagnosing speech and language disorders and implementing programs to enhance students' speech, language, and communication development.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, and compile reports to assist in determining eligibility and programming needs, following legal and district guidelines.
  • Participate as a member of the ARD committee, ensuring all documentation and meetings are completed within required timelines.
  • Translate appraisal data into appropriate speech and language programs.
  • Develop measurable IEP objectives and annual goals.
  • Plan and deliver research-based therapy interventions according to the student's schedule.
  • Provide services in inclusive settings and coordinate with general education staff when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate data for each student session.
  • Consult with the campus RTI committee and serve as a speech-language consultant to parents and staff.
  • Participate in student staffing, staff trainings, parent trainings, and public awareness activities.
  • Keep detailed records of evaluations, ARD meetings, and related activities.
  • Complete progress notes and other documentation on schedule, utilizing relevant data.
  • Supervise licensed assistants, CFY interns, students, and fellow SLPs as assigned.
  • Follow billing procedures for Medicaid and other documentation requirements.
  • Complete caseload studies, logs, and outcome summaries by deadlines.
  • Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Use technology effectively for organizing information, scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance skills.
