This in-person role runs through June 9, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek (7 hours per day, excluding lunch). Candidates may have a pathway via SLP-CCC or CA licensure, plus required clearances. Compensation ranges from $45.53 to $72.53 per hour and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• SLP-CCC or eligible SLP with active license.
• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (non-credential path).
• State of California SLP license (non-credential path).
• Certificate of Clearance posted on the CA CTC website.
• Current TB clearance.
• Livescan fingerprint clearance (district form).
• Equivalency report if master's is from outside the USA.
• Credential posted on the CTC website (credentialed SLPs).
• TB clearance for credentialed SLPs.
• In-person instruction required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group therapy to a caseload of elementary students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with education teams.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff.

Job description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near San Ysidro, CA. This in-person opportunity runs from now through June 9, 2027, and offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 50-60 young learners, supporting their growth in communication and language skills. Each workday is 7 hours long (excluding a lunch break), with a weekly schedule totaling 35 paid hours.

Key Qualifications:

• SLP-CCC or eligible SLP with active license
• Bilingual skills strongly desired
• For non-credentialed SLPs:
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State of California SLP license
  • Certificate of Clearance posted on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website
  • Current TB clearance
  • Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district-provided form)
  • If the masters is from outside the USA, a CTC-approved equivalency report is required
• For credentialed SLPs:
  • Credential posted on the CTC website
  • Current TB clearance
  • Livescan fingerprint clearance (completed with district form)
