Job summary

Founders Classical Academy of Bentonville is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and provide services to students with speech disorders. Responsibilities include assessment, therapy per IEP goals, and collaboration with teachers and ARD committee.

Qualifications include a master's in SLP, Arkansas state license (ABESPA), and at least 3 years of experience; knowledge of school-based practices and ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Arkansas license as a Speech Language Pathologist issued by ABESPA.
• 3+ years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Advanced knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology practices and techniques.
• Experience working with school-aged children and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students per IEP goals.
• Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for therapy termination.
• Conduct independent evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Participate in ARD committee to interpret data and set goals for students.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication.
• Provide professional development in assigned schools.
• Communicate with colleagues, students, and parents about therapy goals and needs.
• Develop ongoing evaluation of services and maintain records and reports.
• May supervise licensed assistants and travel as necessary.
