Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based on-site contract in Many, LA. You will deliver direct therapy, assess students, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with LA licensure and ASHA CCCs preferred; experience in school settings and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active LA SLP license required; ASHA CCCs preferred.
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage caseload and meet documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies.
