Job summary

Wayne County School District in Monticello, Kentucky is seeking two Speech Language Pathologists to screen, assess and provide direct and indirect services aligned with each student’s IEP goals. You will work under the Admissions & Release Committee and collaborate with school staff to support communication development.

Responsibilities include writing evaluations, determining eligibility, reporting progress, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• License: valid SLP license or interim license in Kentucky
• Master's degree in SLP from an accredited program
• Eligible for Kentucky license per KRS 334A 050
• Experience with school-based speech-language pathology is preferred (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess students with communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEP-based treatment plans.
• Communicate results and proposed plans to the Admissions and Release Committee.
• Maintain student records and documentation of services.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
