Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Stafford, Virginia. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting students' communication development within a collaborative school environment.

You will work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals, document progress, and ensure compliant service delivery. This opportunity offers meaningful impact in a school community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification or completion of Clinical Fellowship requirements.
• Virginia Department of Education SLP license/endorsement for school-based practice.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery models.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized IEP-aligned treatment plans.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across assigned grades.
• Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings with teachers, families, and related services.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure appropriate services and accommodations.
