Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks Speech-Language Pathologists to join school-based teams for the 2026-2027 school year in San Lorenzo, CA. Schedule ~36.25 hours/week; start Aug 31, 2026; 42-week contract; 4 openings.

You will evaluate, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy with documentation aligned to IEPs. Roles support elementary and high school settings with district-wide assignments.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state or contract.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
• Current health certificate, if required by state regulations or contract.
• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment, and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and recommend modifications to services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional practice standards.
