Job summary

Marietta City Schools seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to support students in K-12 through assessment, therapy and collaboration with IEP teams. The SLP will develop and implement therapy plans, coordinate with teachers and families, and ensure services align with district goals.

Master’s in SLP required; CCC-SLP or CFY preferred; school-based experience preferred. This 189-day certified position reports to the Director of Special Education and requires strong communication and data

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC or CFY candidate preferred.
• At least one year school‑based SLP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate student needs and determine eligibility per state rules.
• Participate in IEP meetings and develop goals and services.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress.
