Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist at the Prospect Center. The role collaborates with program management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality services for students.

Eligible for a $6,000 incentive with continued employment. Responsibilities include therapy delivery, assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination with physicians and school districts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• New York State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• NY Teaching Certification (TSHH or TSSLD) or equivalent
• ASHA CCC required for supervision of interns and CF candidates

Responsibilities

• Provides quality speech-language pathology therapy services
• Assesses current level of function
• Develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan
• Maintains complete and accurate clinical documentation
• Reviews and cosigns documentation by fellows and students
• Communicates with physicians, IDT members, caregivers, and school districts
• Evaluates treatment outcomes and updates plans as needed
• Maintains ongoing licensure education requirements
• Writes scripts and communicates diagnoses with physicians
