You’ll be working at a local high school near Derby, KS, filling in during a maternity leave on a part-time schedule—three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) over approximately 20 hours weekly. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 46 students, including both consult services (1,085 projected hours) and direct therapy (750 projected hours)
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions
• Conduct evaluations, write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain up-to-date documentation
• Collaborate closely with current SLP during shadowing period for seamless transition
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to support student growth
