Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) to join our supportive K-12 school team near Fredericksburg, VA. Under the guidance of an experienced, licensed SLP, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders while completing your Clinical Fellowship year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy to students with a variety of communication needs.
  • Conduct evaluations and assist in developing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Document progress and attend IEP meetings.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student communication goals.
  • Receive supervision and feedback from a licensed SLP to meet CFY requirements.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) status in Virginia.
  • Virginia licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is a plus.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education procedures.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (but not required).
