Job summary

Cole Health in Washington DC is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality school-based therapy as a contractor. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with school hours, across Pre-K to 8th grade, and pays per session plus evaluation bonuses.

You will conduct evaluations, create individualized therapy plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and complete required documentation to support student learning and success within the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Active DC Speech Therapy license required.
• Experience with children preferred; school-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatment services for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success.
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with school and professional standards.
• Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting student outcomes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | School-Based Hours

• Pre-K - Kindergarten 20020 = 4 days a week
• 2nd - 8th grade 20019 = 26 hours a week (roughly)
• Pre-K- 1st grade 20032 = 25 hours a week
