Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students in the 2026-2027 school year at multiple campuses in Texas. This on-site contract offers full-time 37.5 hours per week, with the option for around 30 hours if needed.

You will deliver services under licensed SLP supervision, work with AAC devices, coordinate with families, and travel between campuses if required. A current SLPA license and fingerprint/background checks are required.

Step into a rewarding role supporting secondary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy the flexibility of a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) or, if needed, explore a part-time workload (around 30 hours/week). Locations will be thoughtfully assigned with your commute in mind, striving to keep you at one primary school, and possibly a second as needed.

As part of your caseload, youll support middle and high school students, averaging 80-90 students, with assignments taking your expertise and comfort level into account. Familiarity with AAC devices is highly valued, as many students benefit from assisted communication tools.

Your Background:

• Valid and current SLPA license required
• Previous school-based SLPA experience, especially with secondary age groups, preferred
• Experience with AAC devices is a strong plus
• Comfortable managing moderate caseloads and working across multiple school sites if needed
• Must pass state fingerprinting and background check
• Organized, flexible, and committed to fostering student progress
