Job description

Step into a rewarding school-based position supporting students' communication growth, working in a contract role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant K-12 setting near Pendleton, OR. This opportunity spans from the last week of August through the first or second week of June, following the school calendar for a total of 185 days. You’ll enjoy a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, providing consistency and work-life balance, with daily start and end times aligned to each school's schedule.

As an SLPA, you'll engage with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students, collaborating with educators and support staff to help students achieve their communication goals. Assignments may include service in multiple school buildings, adding variety and valuable experience to your professional journey.

Required Qualifications And Experience
  • Active Oregon SLPA licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 school populations preferred
