Job summary

Pampa ISD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in Pampa, Texas to support students with speech, voice, or language disorders. The role reports to the Director of Special Programs within the Special Education Department.

You will plan and provide services, assess students, and deliver therapeutic interventions to help students access the educational program. This is a full-time position posted until filled, with a starting date To Be Determined.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of habilitation and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders.
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders.
• Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with educational participation.
