Job summary

Orange County Public Schools in Orlando is seeking an ESE Speech & Language Therapist to deliver language and literacy services, collaborate with teachers and parents, and support student achievement in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

The role includes direct and indirect therapy, IEP participation, assessments, and ongoing professional development. Requires a Master’s in SLP or higher, Florida licensure; CCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech/Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Must have or obtain Speech-Language Impaired Certificate (Grades K-12) from the Florida State Department of Education or Florida Department of Health State Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible for such as prescribed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement hands-on programs and activities for students and the school.
• Participate in a cooperative effort with faculty to plan and evaluate programs of continuing school improvement.
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services and consult with teachers and parents.
