Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of an S-5 (Master’s level) Georgia Educator Service Certificate in Speech Language Pathology.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
• Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.

Responsibilities

• Implement procedures for identifying students with Speech and Language Impairments.
• Conduct assessments and analyze data for articulation and language skills.
• Provide best practices and evidence-based services to students per IEPs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to generalize students' skills across settings.
• Prepare reports required by the school district, including Medicaid documentation.
