Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is expanding our School Based Services Department and seeking School Based Specialists to support on-site intervention in area schools. The role collaborates with school staff to ensure appropriate client care, providing direct services to youth enrolled in the program in a full-time, 12-month capacity.

The position emphasizes visiting schools, supporting treatment planning, and assisting clients with daily living and access to community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field as listed.
• Valid Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Favorable Driving Record.
• Reliable Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ongoing process of monitoring client progress in treatment programs.
• Participate in development of specific individual treatment/rehabilitation plans.
• Provide individual assistance to clients as a resource in accessing needed mental health services.
• Provide individual assistance to clients in completing activities of daily living skills.
• Assist the client to access and utilize a variety of community agencies and resources to provide ongoing social, vocational, educational, and recreational support and activities.
• Additional job duties to target client wellness and rehabilitation.

Job Summary: Burrell Behavioral Health is expanding our School Based Services Department. We are adding School Based Specialists to our staff who will be key players in assisting school-age youth achieve their goals. School Based Specialists provide on-site intervention in area schools for clients enrolled in the program and will collaborate closely with school staff to ensure appropriate client care. Location: Nestled in the heart of Missouri, Moberly offers the perfect balance of rural serenity and urban proximity.
