Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a school social worker for a TK-5 immersion environment. This full-time, contract role is ideal for a licensed clinical social worker fluent in Spanish, to support a diverse learning community.

Start date August 6th and work alongside educators to foster a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Qualifications include CA LCSW and PPS credentials, full fluency in Spanish and English, and prior school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health support in Spanish and English.
• Counsel students individually and in groups for academic, social, and emotional needs.

• Participate in student assistance programs and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies for at‑risk students.
• Advocate for equity and culturally responsive practices in the school.
• Support teachers with resources and consultation for classroom management and crisis response.
