Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year in the greater Salem, OR area. This full-time role offers 35-40/hour and works on-site in a school-based setting serving early childhood ages 3-5.

The position includes W-2 employment with liability insurance, benefits, and mentorship from school-based professionals. The successful candidate will implement IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon SLPA license.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services in the school setting.
• Implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
