Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students across the Central Valley. The role involves evaluating communication disorders, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy in school settings.

You will collaborate with educators and clinicians, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure documentation compliance while advancing AAC use and assistive technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
