Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in Avondale, AZ. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, teachers, and IEP teams to deliver compliant, effective therapy aligned with curricular standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, be eligible for or hold AZ SLP licensure, and possess clearance requirements (fingerprint and TB).

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for AZ SLP license.
• Ability to conduct school-based assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Experience collaborating with parents, teachers and IEP teams.
• Knowledge of curricular standards and goal writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ethically and legally defensible AZ school-based services.
• Conduct appropriate assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Consult and collaborate with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding service delivery.
• Target modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills.
• Maintain daily therapy logs, data collection, and attendance registers.
• IEPs: write goals in support of curricular standards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
