Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Warrenton, VA. This in-person role emphasizes collaboration with educators and families to improve articulation, language, and overall classroom participation.

Requirements include Virginia SLP licensure or eligibility, CCC-SLP from ASHA, a masters in SLP, and strong communication skills. Salary is $63 per hour with comprehensive benefits and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (if applicable).
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification (if not CF).
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify disorders and plan treatment.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, language and fluency.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school team to implement classroom strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate parents and teachers to support carryover in classroom.
• Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and billing records.
• Stay updated with current SLP research and best practices.
• Participate in IEP and school-based team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and ethical standards in schools.
