Job summary

Birch Agency in Doylestown, PA is hiring Speech Language Pathologists to work in person with students across Lower and Upper Bucks County for the school year. Openings are full-time and part-time, serving students from pre-K through high school. Interviews are being held asap to fill these in-person roles in educational settings across the region. Birch Agency provides school-based therapy services across PA.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Communication.
• PA Speech Language Pathologist state licensure/certification.
• ASHA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders.
• Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine the degree and severity.
• Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities.
• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines.
• Attend IEP Meetings.
• Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary.
• Consult with Teachers.
• Work as a part of the Special Ed team.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion.
