Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based role. You’ll work with students in their educational setting, delivering assessment, therapy, and progress monitoring aligned with IEP goals.

The role features a predictable school-year schedule, summers off, and opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and leadership growth within a collaborative team of SLPs, OT/PT, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent) is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.
• Active state SLP license in North Carolina or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized SLP services based on student IEPs/504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations, write reports, and monitor progress in articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school culture.
