Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for Elkton, Maryland to support students for the 2026–2027 school year.

Responsibilities include screenings, assessments, therapy, and documentation for ages 3–21, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to meet IEP goals.

Compensation is $52.70–$53.80/hr with weekly pay, benefits, and a stable full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SLP or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Maryland SLP license or CF eligibility to begin.
• School-based evaluations, IEPs, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, assessments, therapy, and documentation for students ages 3–21 per IEPs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements.
• Provide services across assigned school sites to support students in various settings.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License or CF eligibility

School-based evaluations and IEPs experience preferred

Valid Driver's License
