Job summary

Light Street Special Education Solutions in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to students with communication needs. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators and therapy staff to implement IEP goals and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements.
• Current CA Licensure and COC or CTC (or willing to obtain).
• Current negative TB skin test or risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication abilities and develop IEP-aligned goals.
• Develop and implement speech-language therapy intervention plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate strategies into the curriculum.
• Provide insights on student progress and recommend interventions for IEPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Provide trainings to instructional and related staff.
