Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for a Fall-start contract in Port Saint Lucie, FL.

You will work on-site with students from K through high school, once per assignment, collaborating with experienced SLPs and SLPAs. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (35 hours weekly) and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC certification required.
• Active Florida state SLP license.
• Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with diverse caseloads including autism.
• Ability to complete district credentialing and fingerprinting requirements.
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct speech-language services to students across K-8 and high school.
• Collaborate with on-site SLPs, SLPAs, teachers and staff.
• Document progress and assist with IEP development and meetings.
• Support families and teachers to maximize student outcomes.
